Heat loss and gain calculations for engineers.

Toplinko is an in-house product of Tsunami Digital. It is a web-based calculator for heat loss and heat gain, made for the engineers who design heating, ventilation and cooling systems for buildings. It turns a slow, detail-heavy part of their job into a guided process in the browser. We designed it, we built it and we keep it up to date ourselves, which means we answer for every calculation it produces.

Engineers enter the building, and Toplinko runs the calculations to EU and Croatian standards. A 2D visualisation shows the spaces being calculated, and the tool works hand-in-hand with AutoCAD, so it fits into the drawings engineers already use instead of replacing them. The aim is simple: less time on repetitive calculation, fewer chances for error and results the engineer can trust in a real project.

Heat load calculations are detailed, rule-bound and repetitive. Done in spreadsheets or older desktop tools, they eat hours and leave room for mistakes, and the results have to match the project drawings. Engineers needed a tool that follows the standards and fits the way they already work.
