A custom web shop, from checkout to fiscal receipt.

Krimopolis is an in-house product of Tsunami Digital: a Croatian site with murder mystery games played at home, for 1 to 10 players. Each case is a printable PDF set in a real Croatian town, and the evidence - call recordings, messages, CCTV footage - opens on the phone through QR codes. The first case is free, and every other case is bought once for the whole group. We write the cases, built the site and the shop behind it, and run both ourselves.

The shop is custom code, not a plugin on a platform. Customers sign in with an e-mail link, Google or a password, pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe Checkout, and get the case by e-mail within seconds, together with a fiscalized receipt. Members pay a lower price, discount codes and gift orders are built in, and a refund cancels the receipt automatically. Every downloaded PDF is stamped with the buyer's licence line and served through a link that expires within minutes.

Selling digital products in Croatia sounds simple until the details arrive: every card payment needs a fiscalized receipt, every refund needs a cancellation, a paid file must not be shared through a public link, and a customer who clicks twice must never be charged twice. Off-the-shelf plugins cover parts of this and leave the gaps to manual work. We wanted a shop where all of it runs on its own.
