Software for service businesses and trades that work on site
Software for trades and service businesses: we build work orders on the phone, service history for every customer and device, crew scheduling and quote tools for installers, repairers and service companies with a team on the road.
Overview
A service business with a few crews on the road loses most of its time between the job and the office: a call noted on a scrap of paper, a work order that comes back in the evening with half the fields empty, a photo in someone's private gallery, parts used that never reach the invoice, and a customer whose last service date nobody can find. We build the software that closes those gaps - a work order the technician fills in on the phone with photos and the customer's signature, a history of every device and site you service, a schedule the office and the crews share, and reminders that bring customers back for their next regular service.
We know how service businesses get their work because we run Tržište Usluga, our own marketplace that connects customers with more than 2,400 verified companies across 150+ services. Invoicing, fiscalisation and e-invoices are not a reason to build custom - inexpensive off-the-shelf software for tradespeople does that well, and our guide on custom software for small trades explains where the money is better spent. Custom software pays off when your jobs, your equipment and your price list are your own and no off-the-shelf field service app fits them without workarounds.
Where it hurts
- Technicians bring work orders back in the evening, and half the time the materials used are missing.
- A customer calls about a fault and nobody can find what we replaced on that unit last year.
- The schedule lives in the owner's head and on a wall calendar, so every sick day turns into chaos.
- We have contracts for regular servicing, but we only remember them when the customer calls.
- Quotes for bigger jobs take an evening, because the price depends on measurements and materials.
What we build for trades and service businesses
06- 01
Work orders on the phone
Your own work order form with checklists, photos, parts used, time on site and the customer's signature, ready for invoicing the moment the job is closed.
- 02
Service history per device and site
Every unit, installation and address with its full history - what was done, what was replaced and when - so any technician can pick up where another left off.
- 03
Scheduling and dispatch
A shared schedule of crews, vehicles and jobs, with urgent call-outs slotted in and changes sent straight to the technician's phone.
- 04
Regular service and reminders
Service contracts with intervals, automatic reminders to customers and a list of visits due next month, so recurring work stops depending on memory.
- 05
Quote tool from measurements
Enter dimensions and options on site and get a quote built from your own price list and materials, sent to the customer before you leave.
- 06
Online booking and enquiries
Customers book a visit or describe a fault with photos online, and the request arrives in the schedule with everything the technician needs.
How we work together
-
A day with a crew
We go through a real working day: how jobs come in, how they are assigned, what the technician fills in on site and what the office retypes in the evening.
-
One work order first
The first version covers your most common job type and the work order for it, so crews can use it within weeks rather than waiting for a full system.
-
Tested on real jobs
One crew uses it on live jobs - with dirty hands, poor signal and impatient customers - and we fix what slows them down before everyone switches.
-
Your development department
After launch we stay on a monthly basis: new job types, new forms, changes to your price list and fixes - your development department without hiring one.
No project price list. A fixed price before we start.
Every project is different, so the price depends on what you need and how much of it. The first call is free of charge, and you always get a fixed price in writing before any work starts - no surprises.
- 01The first call is free and commits you to nothing
- 02You get a fixed price in writing before work starts
- 03You own the code and data once the work is paid for
- 04Hourly work and extra developers: €40-60 per hour
- 05After launch: software maintenance and development, monthly

Questions
-
01 Why not just use a ready-made field service app?
If one fits your jobs, use it - for many small businesses it is the cheapest answer. Custom software makes sense when you are bending your work around the app: your work order needs different fields, your price list is calculated rather than fixed, or you service equipment with a history the app cannot hold. It can still work alongside the invoicing app you already use.
-
02 Does it need to be a mobile app from the app store?
Usually not. A web app that runs well on a phone and can be added to the home screen covers work orders, photos and signatures, and is cheaper to build and update. A store app makes sense when you need features such as working fully offline for long periods or deep access to the phone's hardware.
-
03 Will our technicians actually use it?
They will if it is faster than paper. That is why we design the work order with the people who fill it in, keep it to the fields you actually need, and test it on live jobs before rollout. If a step annoys the crew, we change it during the pilot, not after launch.
-
04 How much does software for a service business cost?
It depends on the scope - how many job types and forms, whether you need scheduling, service history, a quote tool or online booking. That is why we do not publish a price list. The first call is free, and the price is agreed in writing before work starts.
-
05 Can calls and enquiries be handled automatically?
Partly. An online booking form or an AI voice agent can take down the fault, address and preferred time when nobody can answer the phone, and put the request into the schedule. A person still decides on urgent call-outs and anything unusual.
Where does your working day leak time?
Tell us how a job travels from the first call to the invoice. The first call is free, and the price is agreed in writing before any work starts.
Completely free. No commitments.
