Hospitality software built around how you run
Restaurants, hotels and holiday rentals usually already run a till, a PMS, a channel manager and eVisitor. Tsunami Digital, a software studio in Zagreb, builds custom hospitality software for what those tools leave out: seasonal shift planning, direct bookings and packages, purchasing and stock, and an app for guests.
Overview
A restaurant, hotel or group of apartments already runs on ready-made tools: a fiscal POS, a property management system (PMS), a channel manager that keeps Booking.com and Airbnb in step, and, in Croatia, eVisitor for guest registration. We do not replace them. We build what is missing between them - an internal tool for shifts and purchasing, your own direct booking flow, one view of every property or location, or an app guests open on their phone.
If you run one café or two apartments, a good off-the-shelf product and a solid routine are usually enough, and we will tell you so on the first call. Your own software pays off when you have several properties or locations, seasonal staff who need to get up to speed every spring, or an offer that standard systems cannot sell properly: packages, transfers, excursions, tasting menus or equipment rental.
Where it hurts
- The season's shift plan still lives in a spreadsheet, and every change goes through a WhatsApp group.
- Reception, kitchen and housekeeping re-type the same guest details from one system into another every day.
- You have five locations or twenty units, and revenue and occupancy are still added up by hand at month end.
- Direct bookings arrive by email and phone, so someone checks availability and sends confirmations manually.
- You sell packages, excursions or rentals that no ready-made system can sell the way you put them together.
What we build for hotels, restaurants and rentals
06- 01
Shifts and seasonal staff
Shift planning by property and department, swaps and availability on the phone, plus checklists and instructions for new seasonal staff.
- 02
Direct bookings and packages
A booking flow on your own website for rooms, tables, packages or extras, with confirmations and reminders that go out on their own.
- 03
One view of every property
Revenue, occupancy and costs per location in one place, refreshed daily, instead of spreadsheets merged at month end.
- 04
Purchasing and recipe costing
Supplier orders, ingredient usage and recipe standards in one tool, so the kitchen and management look at the same numbers.
- 05
Guest app
A web or mobile app with stay details, arrival instructions, ordering of extra services and messages to reception.
- 06
Guest message automation
Answers to common guest questions, routing of enquiries to the right person, and an AI assistant that helps reception out of hours.
How we work together
-
Walk through a working day
We follow a day from the first arrivals to closing the till, list the tools you already use and agree what to fix first.
-
First version before the season
We plan so the first usable version is ready and tested before the season starts, not in the middle of it when nobody has time for a new tool.
-
Getting staff on board
Short instructions and screens designed for people who use the tool on the move, on a phone or tablet, often in their first week on the job.
-
Your development team
After launch we stay on monthly: maintenance and quick fixes during the season, larger improvements in the quieter months when there is time to try them.
No project price list. A fixed price before we start.
Every project is different, so the price depends on what you need and how much of it. The first call is free of charge, and you always get a fixed price in writing before any work starts - no surprises.
- 01The first call is free and commits you to nothing
- 02You get a fixed price in writing before work starts
- 03You own the code and data once the work is paid for
- 04Hourly work and extra developers: €40-60 per hour
- 05After launch: software maintenance and development, monthly

Questions
-
01 What software does a hotel or restaurant need?
A hotel or holiday rental needs a property management system (PMS), a channel manager that keeps Booking.com and Airbnb in sync and eVisitor for guest registration; a restaurant needs a fiscal till and a table booking tool. Custom software is only needed for what sits between those tools - shifts, purchasing, packages or an overview of several properties - and that is what we build.
-
02 Will you replace our POS or PMS?
Usually not. A fiscal POS, a PMS, a channel manager and eVisitor cover standard work well, and rebuilding them makes no sense. We build the part that is missing, working alongside the tools you already use. If an off-the-shelf tool serves you well, we will recommend keeping it.
-
03 Is our own direct booking system worth it?
It depends on how many bookings already come in directly and how unusual your offer is. For standard rooms and tables, ready-made booking tools are enough. Your own flow makes sense when you sell packages, extras or combinations those tools cannot handle, or when several properties sit under one brand.
-
04 Can you finish before the season starts?
If we start early enough, yes. That is why we keep the first version to what the season really needs and build the rest afterwards. You get a timeline in writing after the first, short phase of work, before you commit to the build.
-
05 How much does software for a restaurant, hotel or rental business cost?
The price depends on scope - how many properties, users and processes the software covers and what it has to replace. That is why we do not publish a price list. The first call is free, and we agree the price in writing before any work starts.
-
06 Who looks after the software during the season?
We do, as part of the monthly partnership. We agree a response time for faults that stop work, monitor the system and keep it updated. Larger changes are planned for the quieter months, when staff have time to try them.
-
07 What about guest data and GDPR?
Guest details are personal data, so we design the software to collect only what it needs, keep it in the EU and give access only to the people who need it. The data and the source code stay yours, in your own accounts.
What eats most of your time in season?
Describe it in a few sentences - the first call is free and the price is agreed in writing before work starts.
Completely free. No commitments.
